SHELBY FARMER GRIFFITH
Shelby Griffith began her ballet training at the age of six in Las Cruces, New Mexico at Michele’s Dance Academy. After moving to California, she trained in classical ballet at Inland Pacific Ballet Academy in Montclair. Upon graduating high school, she joined the company as a corps de ballet member and then as a demi-soloist. Shelby has performed in corps de ballet, demi-soloist, and soloist roles in: The Nutcracker, Giselle, The Little Mermaid, Swan Lake, Dracula,
Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast; as well as in the original works: Tolerance, Love Will Damage Your Heart, and The Other Side.
Shelby has been teaching ballet and choreographing since 2010. Shelby worked as a ballet instructor and choreographer at Zoetic Movement in Rancho Cucamonga, and Dance Street West in Glendora, CA
Mrs. Griffith also choreographed and directed the original short ballet, “Oh The Places You'll Go” for BIA Women's
Conference at The Grove of Anaheim.
